Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Energy Management & Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive energy management strategies aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
Monitor and analyse energy consumption data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Lead the preparation of annual energy budgets and track performance against key KPIs.

RE100 & Renewable Energy Integration:

Drive the company's roadmap toward achieving RE100 targets (100% renewable electricity).
Evaluate and implement on-site and off-site renewable energy projects.
Collaborate with procurement and finance to secure cost-effective renewable energy contracts.

Energy Efficiency & Projects:

Initiate, plan, and manage energy-saving projects across all plants, utilities, and building systems.
Coordinate with plant and maintenance teams to integrate energy-efficient technologies and automation.
Evaluate ROI, payback, and environmental benefits of proposed energy projects.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with local and international energy and environmental regulations.
Prepare and submit energy usage, GHG emissions, and renewable energy reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies (e.g., CDP, RE100).
Maintain energy management systems in accordance with ISO 50001 or similar standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management
3+ years of experience in energy management
Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and procurement models (e.g., PPA, REC).
Experience with ISO 50001 implementation and energy audit methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and energy monitoring systems.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
