Sr. Engineer / A M HPDC - Tool Room     Key Responsibility The incumbent is accountable for ensuring job work for HPD dies is carried out as per defined standards and plan. Also, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring quality output from HPDC worked upon and ensuring quick resolution of breakdowns. Job Description Develop departmental budget in coordination with departments to ensure efficient utilization of resources Plan and develop HPDC overhauling schedule in coordination with Production and production planning and control Define service level agreements for breakdowns and maintenance of HPDC Ensure maintenance of HPDC DIES to carried out as per defined SOPs Ensure HPDC performance is as per defined standards when in production and take corrective action if required Maintain spare HPDC as per requirements and ensure critical spare parts inventory is maintained Monitor production logs on HPDC related defects; ensure corrective action when HPDC are planned for maintenance. Plan manpower requirements for the tool room as per workload and maintenance schedule Ensure documentation of TS-16949 / ISO-14001 and D.O.L Initiate kaizen projects as per need to improve departmental functioning and bring in efficiencies Ensure employee grievance are handled with sensitivity and resolved as per defined standards Ensure deployment of 5s and safety in the tool room to promote safe working environment Ensure preparation of MIS report as per requirements Ensure development of subordinates in the essential skills required to perform the job Monitor subordinate performance and provide constructive feedback regularly to direct reporting subordinates and ensure their development   Authority Financial Approval of expenses and urgent purchases (Upto Rs. 500) Operational Tool room management, HPDC production output monitoring Administrative Management of Subordinates    Competencies Technical Education B. TECH/ DIPLOMA MECHENICAL 5-8 Years of Experience The incumbent should have experience of minimum of 4-5 years working in HPDC component industry in tool room section Should have worked in DIE CASTING section for 4-6years Should have demonstrated ability to solve technical and people problems
