Job Description – Executive- SCM (Spares & Bought-Out Parts) Position Title: Executive-SCM Department: Purchase / Supply Chain Location: Gurgaon, Haryana Job Purpose: To ensure timely procurement of spares and bought-out parts at the most competitive cost while maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels. The role involves vendor coordination, price negotiation, and ensuring availability of critical spares and bought-out items to support uninterrupted plant operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement & Sourcing - Identify, source, and procure required spares and bought-out parts from approved vendors. - Float inquiries, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements - Negotiate with vendors for cost, quality, and delivery timelines. 2. Inventory Management (Min-Max Control) - Monitor and maintain stock levels of spares as per defined minimum and maximum levels. - Raise purchase requisitions for replenishment in advance to avoid stock-out situations. - Coordinate with the stores team to ensure accuracy of stock records. 3. Vendor Management - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term business continuity. - Evaluate vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and service. - Track supplier performance and share feedback for improvement. 4. Documentation & Compliance - Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and related records. - Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards. - Support cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and vendor development. 5.
