Sr. Electrician

A Senior (Sr.) Electrician in building maintenance oversees electrical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance for commercial or residential facilities. Key duties include diagnosing complex faults (short circuits, overloads), supervising junior staff, ensuring NEC code compliance, reading blueprints, and managing electrical systems like transformers, motors, and lighting. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Maintenance & Repair: Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems (wiring, panels, breakers, lighting) to prevent downtime.
• Leadership: Supervising junior electricians, delegating tasks, and conducting training.
• System Management: Installing, maintaining, and repairing motors, transformers, and control panels.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and NEC standards.
• Technical Planning: Interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics to plan installations and modifications.
• Emergency Response: Providing immediate, on-site support for power failures or system malfunctions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, typically with 3+ years in high-rise or commercial building maintenance.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols, electrical schematics, and tools.
• Skills: Troubleshooting, leadership, and technical proficiency.
