Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Electrician in the Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) Plant, your main responsibility will be to handle electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of plant equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards in the plant. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, panels, and control equipment in the DRI plant. - Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime. - Supervise and guide junior electricians in their daily operations. - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems. - Assist in the commissioning and testing of new electrical installations. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work reports. Qualification Required: - Diploma in Electrical Engineering - Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, circuits, and control panels. - Hands-on experience in DRI Plant or Steel industry is mandatory. - Knowledge of PLC, VFD, and MCC systems is an advantage. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Awareness of safety and compliance regulations.
