Sr. Deal Strategy Specialist
Role The Senior Deal Strategy Specialist plays a key role in managing complex order creation, deal structuring, and contract execution for Google services. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the deal lifecycle from opportunity validation to order form finalization and renewal. The specialist also acts as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for peers, ensuring smooth collaboration between Field Sales Representatives (FSR), SMEs, QA, and Deal Desk teams. Key Order & Contract Management Review and validate sales requests and customer data submitted by FSRs. Create and finalize complex order forms/contracts including order IDs, service SKUs, legal and billing information. Ensure order documentation adheres to internal compliance and policy standards. Manage order updates and amendments in systems such as Vector, Q+, and SAP. Support automation and standardization initiatives within order creation workflows. Renewals & Amendments Own the end-to-end process for renewals and service extensions. Validate renewal order details in CLOUD Helpdesk, Order Management Knowledge Base, and Q+ tools. Coordinate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure timely renewals and accurate billing alignment. Deal Structuring & Compliance Conduct Approval vs Policy, Approval vs Contract, and Contract vs Booking validations. Identify deviations, potential risks, and escalate exceptions per policy. Collaborate with SMEs and QA for reviews and implement corrective feedback. Maintain documentation traceability for all order and contract records. Steholder Collaboration & Support Partner with QA, SMEs, and Sales Ops for smooth deal execution and policy adherence. Provide inputs to process improvement and quality initiatives based on recurring issues. Quality & Governance Ensure compliance with SOPs and zero-error standards. Analyze QA feedback and drive error-proofing through best practices. Support training and mentoring of junior DSS agents. Track and maintain accuracy 99% and first-pass yield 95%. Skills & Qualifications Graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Finance preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in deal desk, renewals, order management, or contract operations. Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) and order fulfillment systems. Proven ability to handle complex deal structures and multi-stakeholder coordination. Proficiency in Google Workspace, SAP, Salesforce, or Q+ platforms. Excellent analytical skills, compliance orientation, and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement. Willingness to work in rotational 18x7 shifts.
