Sr. Designer (PD)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Product Development Designer to lead the end-to-end process of fashion product development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating commercially viable, globally competitive apparel collections while working closely with international clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Product Development: Oversee the product development process from concept to production, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Trend Research: Continuously monitor global fashion trends, forecast upcoming styles, and translate them into innovative designs.
• Collection Design: Create cohesive, market-appropriate, and commercially successful apparel collections.
• Client Collaboration: Work directly with leading international fashion brands to understand their requirements and develop customized design solutions.
• Material Selection: Work with fabric teams to source appropriate materials, trims, and accessories to meet design and quality expectations.
• Sample Development: Guide the sampling process, ensuring all prototypes meet design intent, client specifications, and quality standards.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with pattern makers, merchandisers, and production teams to ensure accurate technical specifications and manufacturability.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers and support staff within the product development team.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all designs meet international quality standards, pricing targets, and sustainability goals where applicable.
• Presentations: Prepare and deliver impactful design presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 7–9 years of relevant experience in Product Development and Fashion Design, preferably in an export house or working with international brands.
• Education: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a recognized institute.
• Design Expertise: Strong ability to develop trend-led collections with a keen eye for detail, color, fabric, and fit.
• Market Knowledge: Understanding of global fashion markets, consumer preferences, and commercial viability.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and basic knowledge of tech packs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Leadership: Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
