As a professional at Applus IDIADA, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Unigraphics NX software to handle solid and surface modeling tasks. You will be responsible for designing plastic parts, specifically focusing on automobile interior and exterior plastic trim parts. Your key responsibilities will include the design, development, and release of all trim components, along with having product design and development experience in automotive trim components. It is essential to have proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling within a product development environment and knowledge of plastic molding, welding, and other joining methods. Strong communication and presentation skills are crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Good hands-on experience with Unigraphics NX software commands - Expertise in solid and surface modeling using UG NX - Proficient in working on plastic parts design - Experience with automobile interior and exterior plastic trim parts - Responsible for the design, development, and release of all trim components - Product design and development experience in automotive trim components - Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling within a product development environment - Knowledge of plastic molding, welding, and other joining methods - Strong communication and presentation skills Qualifications: - Software: Unigraphics NX - Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering In addition to the above qualifications, exposure to automotive plastic trim design and development, proficiency in multiple CAD software, familiarity with the product development process of Daimler group companies, good understanding of manufacturing processes, DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance stack analysis, as well as exposure to European Automotive Customer Specifications & Standards, will be considered added advantages.
