Sr. Design Engineer

As a part of the global partner to the automotive industry, Applus IDIADA, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Unigraphics NX software commands, solid and surface modeling, and plastic parts design. Your role will involve working on interior and exterior plastic trims parts for automobiles, ensuring the design, development, and release of all trim components. Your proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling within a product development environment will be crucial for this position. In addition, your knowledge of plastic molding, welding, and other joining methods will play a significant role in your responsibilities. Your communication and presentation skills will be essential in effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Exposure to automotive plastic trim design and development, proficiency in multiple CAD software, and familiarity with the product development processes of Daimler group companies will be advantageous. Ideally, you should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in Unigraphics NX software is a fundamental requirement for this role.
