Review & approve Design change requests of Child parts for existing products Position : Assistant Manager- Design

Qualification : Diploma in Tool & Die - Moulding

Experience : 6-7 Years

Job Description :

Train and guide Juniors on various design functions
Work on Customer samples and initial part detailing
Understanding of drawings and Design of product as per customer requirement.
DFMEA Activities and Design review with Tooling Teams
Understanding on Manufacturing processes Molding, Stamping, Machining, Plating etc.
Software knowledge and Drawing generation, review and finalization
Designing of Progressive Press Tools, Deep Draw
Review & approve Design change requests of Child parts for existing products
Design prototype of products with customer inputs
Ensure projects are completed before deadlines
Participate in CFTs for Function Study, and create DFMEA

Skills Required :

Working knowledge of machining process: Conventional – Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Drilling, Hexa. Non-Conventional – EDM, EDM Drilling, VMC/CNC, Wirecut
Knowledge of PokaYoke and Kaizen.
Knowledge of design software like Pro-E, Solid Works or Creo.
Basic Knowledge of Plastic Manufacturing: Moulds, Types of Gates, Types of Runners.
Ability to design / draft a child part component.
Knowledge of material properties under stress like malleability, ductility, creep, elasticity.
Progressive tool designing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
