Job Description – Sr. Design Engineer

• Position Name: Sr. Design Engineer
• Reporting to: Managing Director / Technical Head
• Location: Jambusar
• Preferred Candidates: Local candidates from Padra or Jambusar
• Workdays / Timings: 6 Days per Week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Required Experience

• 5 -10 years of experience in Kitchen Equipment Manufacturing, Machine Manufacturing, or Engineering Services Sector.

Required Qualification

• B.E. – Mechanical Engineering
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal) and AutoCAD

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed equipment models and design drawings using SolidWorks (Sheet Metal).
• Lead equipment modeling, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, and take-offs from SolidWorks.
• Interpret and implement customer technical specifications.
• Collaborate with customers on design-related discussions and requirements.
• Drive development of new products and optimize existing designs for functionality, manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Standardize products/components to reduce design cycle time.
• Organize and maintain design and drawing folders.
• Ensure daily reporting of work progress for self and team.
• Plan and allocate design tasks for self and team members.

Required Skills

• Expertise in 2D & 3D Design (Sheet Metal) using SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
• Ability to complete equipment models with full detailing (fasteners, accessories, etc.).
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and general tolerances.
• Excellent communication skills, especially written communication.
• Ability to delegate design and modeling tasks effectively.
• Proactive approach to meeting design activity deadlines.
• Preferred:
• Experience in load simulation using SolidWorks.
• Ability to generate rendered views, exploded/blown-up views of models.
• Experience in creating motion graphics for assembly/dismantling sequences.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
