Senior Data Engineer – Product Development

Alliora is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for its client.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement design specifications for product development
  • Follow engineering best practices and maintain high-quality code standards
  • Handle

    data ingestion for distributed systems with parallel processing

    using

    Golang, C++, and Java

  • Build data pipelines from:

  • Cloud storage:

    Amazon S3, Azure Cloud, GCP Storage

  • Relational DBs:

    Snowflake, Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL

  • Streaming platforms:

    Kafka

  • Data lakehouse:

    Iceberg
  • Enable

    high-availability loading & cross-region replication

  • Set up monitoring, error reporting, and resilience systems

  • Integrate with Spark Connector

  • Manage tools like Kafka & Kafka Connect

Requirements

  • 4–7 years

    of experience in Data Engineering / Back-End development
  • Strong hands-on in

    Golang (4+ yrs)

  • Experience with Kafka, Zookeeper, Spark, or streaming frameworks

  • Proven work on distributed systems with parallel processing

  • Expertise in event-driven architecture

  • Solid exposure to Agile development & CI/CD practices
