Job Description

As a Credit Analyst at Candi, you will play a crucial role in leading the revolution of solar energy by utilizing your expertise in credit underwriting and risk assessment. Your main responsibility will be to support the India team by analyzing financial information, assessing corporate credit risk, and providing valuable insights to enhance the company's risk management strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze different qualities of financial information, conduct financial statement analysis, and calculate key ratios - Research competitive environments and industry risks - Assess corporate credit risk, rate corporates, and prepare concise credit notes - Conduct KYC and background checks on companies and individuals - Provide risk-related training to other departments and promote a company-wide sentiment for risk appetite - Stay updated on economic and industry developments, network with financiers and risk rating agencies - Support the Head of Credit in enhancing in-house risk tools Qualifications Required: - CA/MBA Finance with 7+ years of experience in credit underwriting for corporate clients - Proficient in MS Excel and understanding of credit risk regulations by RBI for NBFCs - Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial statements, audit reports, cash flows, leverage, collateral, and customer strength - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Effective industry research and networking abilities Working Culture: - Embrace Candi values by prioritizing empathy, authenticity, teamwork, and simplicity - Collaborate within a multicultural, cross-functional team to execute innovative ideas - International experience or exposure is a plus - Demonstrate openness, honesty, trustworthiness, and strong communication skills - Uphold Candi's equal opportunities employer policy Additional Company Details: Candi is dedicated to providing businesses in emerging markets with affordable and sustainable rooftop solar energy solutions.
