Sr. Corporate Accountant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end closure of books for the US Entity and supporting the audit process. Your role will involve balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis, journal entry assessment, automation, and migration, as well as US GAAP accruals. You will need to liaise with various stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of input and reports. Additionally, you will be expected to deliver routine tasks within agreed timelines, focusing on standardization and process streamlining. Your role will also entail detecting accounting anomalies during financial analysis to ensure error-free reporting at month, quarter, and year-end. You should be able to understand processes, improve, and automate them to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end closure of books for the US Entity and support the audit process - Perform balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis and close reconciling items - Assess, automate, and migrate journal entries, as well as handle US GAAP accruals - Ensure timely receipt of input and reports from stakeholders - Deliver routine tasks within agreed timelines, emphasizing standardization and process streamlining - Identify accounting anomalies during financial analysis to ensure error-free reporting - Improve and automate processes to enhance efficiency Qualification Required: - CA/CPA with 3 to 5 years of experience - Hands-on experience in balance sheet analysis and reconciliation - Familiarity with month-end close process - Experience with IS and SAP or any other ERP - Excellent Excel skills - Nice to have: Trintech, Alteryx Additional Details: The company values soft skills such as the ability to communicate strongly, influence without authority, strong math and analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, flexibility, and being a good team player.
