Sr. Corporate Accountant

As a Corporate Senior Accountant at Booking Holdings, you will play a crucial role in the Finance Transformation initiative by ensuring effective finance and accounting support for business management. You will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager - India and be responsible for various accounting activities for BHI entities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing accounting activities for corporate close such as daily cash, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, accruals, leases, and debt transactions - Ensuring timely and accurate monthly corporate close activities - Providing support for statutory and US financial audits, and addressing requests from internal and external auditors - Leading monthly (quarterly, annual) closing process tasks - Reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts monthly and resolving any reconciling items promptly - Preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, variance analysis, and monthly closing reports for corporate entities - Reconciling ERP to consolidation tool monthly and maintaining roll-forwards within the tool - Ensuring timely delivery and integrity of internal and/or external financial reporting - Overseeing SOX documentation, compliance, and providing audit support - Documenting comprehensive SOPs and updating them periodically - Ensuring compliance with defined tasks/areas, including Sox, tax, statutory filings, and audits - Collaborating with key Finance departments on cross-functional tasks and projects - Handling ad-hoc projects like automation, ERP implementation, etc. Qualifications required: - Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience - Sound Accounting Knowledge, familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS and SOX - Project management or transformation experience is a plus - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic organization - Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization - Collaboration skills with a focus on cross-functional teamwork - Proficiency in SAP and Blackline; experience with OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management is advantageous If your application is successful, a pre-employment screening check may be conducted by a third party as permitted by law, encompassing factors like employment history, education, and other relevant information to evaluate your qualifications and suitability for the position.,
