Position Summary:

• The role involves performing analytical activities in a CRO environment with a primary focus on LC-MS method development, routine analysis, data interpretation, and reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining analytical instruments, ensuring data integrity, and complying with company SOPs while supporting project timelines.

Job Profile:

• Perform sample preparation, method development, and routine LC-MS, GC analysis for R&D samples.
• Interpret analytical data and generate analytical reports in compliance with company SOPs.
• Manage and maintain LC-MS, GC data using appropriate software (e.g., Empower, open lab & Chemstation).
• Carry out regular maintenance and calibration of LC-MS instruments.
• Immediately inform the Project Leader of any LC-MS instrument-related issues during analysis.
• Prepare dispatch documents for compounds or materials and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform aliquoting of R&D samples as per project requirements.
• Compile and maintain all analytical documentation in accordance with company SOPs and quality standards.
• Take additional responsibility for maintenance of other analytical laboratory instruments.
• Ensure proper upkeep of laboratory instrument facilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace at all times.
• Handle analytical instruments carefully to avoid damage and ensure longevity.

Desired Profile:

• M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry) or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in LC-MS analysis, preferably using Waters LC-MS systems and Empower software.
• Familiarity with analytical R&D workflows in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge or exposure to other analytical instruments such as GC, IR, UV-Visible spectroscopy, Prep - HPLC etc.
