Senior Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the API sector.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the API product portfolio and market presence.
• Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contracts, and agreements.
  

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary contact for major pharmaceutical clients and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, etc.) to align customer requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive revenue and business growth through targeted sales strategies.
• Identify opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare compelling product presentations for potential clients.
  

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for growth.
  

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure business development activities comply with regulatory standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with QA and regulatory teams to meet all product compliance requirements.
  

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of API market trends, industry regulations, and global pharmaceutical dynamics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel for business meetings, conferences, and site visits.
  

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM 6:30 PM (Flexible, 8.5-hour workday)
  
• Saturdays: 1st & 3rd Saturdays working; 5th Saturday is a half-day
