Role Overview: Assystem is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join their team in Delhi. As a Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes within the Transport Department related to infrastructure projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, gather requirements, recommend solutions, and support the implementation of new processes and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and document existing business processes within the Transport Department related to infrastructure projects. - Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement within the current system. - Develop and recommend solutions for streamlining processes, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency. - Prepare detailed BPI reports with clear recommendations for implementation. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements for new infrastructure projects. - Translate stakeholder needs into comprehensive specifications for systems, software, and other necessary components. - Design and develop RFPs for the selection of contractors and vendors based on the defined requirements. - Develop and implement a robust change management plan to ensure a smooth transition to new infrastructure and systems. - Provide training and ongoing support to Transport Department staff on new processes and technologies. - Monitor implementation progress, identify challenges, and recommend adjustments as needed. - Liaise with project stakeholders and present reports, analysis findings, and recommendations to senior management. - Stay updated on relevant industry trends and best practices in process optimization and technology integration. Qualifications Required: - B. Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field. - Minimum 5 years of proven experience in analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes in large-scale projects. - Solid understanding of business process analysis methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN) and BPR best practices. - Extensive experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for IT systems and infrastructure projects. - Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective change management strategies. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Proficient in MS Office suite and project management tools. - Experience in the transportation sector or e-governance projects would be highly desirable.
