Sr. Billing Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct

  Value Engineering

  to achieve optimal functionality, safety, speed, and quality at reduced costs by evaluating multiple technical and commercial options.
• Prepare

  Preliminary Estimates

  and

  Project Cost Sheets

  at initial project stages.
• Manage

  Pre-qualification of Vendors

  and maintain an approved vendor list.
• Perform

  Rate Analysis, Bill Estimation, and Costing

  for all project activities.
• Prepare

  Detailed Comparative Statements

  for material and work quotations.
• Take and verify

  site measurements

  in coordination with site engineers and confirm with actual site conditions.
• Prepare

  Quantity Sheets

  from drawings and site data.
• Develop and maintain

  Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

  and item rate bills.
• Ensure

  execution of work

  as per company protocols and assigned scope.
• Maintain a

  material summary sheet

  for all receipts (on-site/off-site), verify with work orders, and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.

• Check and certify bills/invoices

  from vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Prepare and process

  subcontractor bills

  and ensure timely certification by respective departments.

• Coordinate with the accounts department

  for follow-up on payments.
• Prepare

  Reconciliation Statements

  for materials, quantities, and costs.
• Analyze and resolve

  variation claims

  raised by contractors/vendors.
• Handle

  Contracts Administration and Enforcement

  at the site level.
• Coordinate with all project teams to ensure smooth execution and proper information flow.
  
• Conduct

  Inspection and Verification

  of work measurements for certification.
• Prepare

  Payment Certifications

  for contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure all

  commercial, legal, statutory, and contractual compliances

  for subcontractors.
• Conduct

  Yearly Vendor Evaluations

  based on performance metrics.
• Oversee

  Preparation and Certification

  of subcontractor bills with accuracy and compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in

  Quantity Reconciliation

  and

  Department-wise Labour Cost Bifurcation

  .
• Proficient in

  Estimation of Quantities from Drawings

  for resource and cost planning.
• Capable of maintaining

  Joint Measurement Records

  with clients.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
