Position Summary

This position provides comprehensive support to Functional Sales, Direct Sales and Distribution Sales for Industrial Pumps business. He or She supports and drives sales activities from acquisition to pre-sales & sales and supports successful project realization. He or She acts as a trusted advisor to customers in all subjects regarding Pump and Application Engineering.

Principal Activities

• Reviews customer requirements and propose a solution based on the Circor product portfolio considering the technical and commercial framework
• Leads expert discussion on plant system configuration and design with the customer and gives advice in terms of technical parameters, system design, material selection, sealing technology, accessories, etc. considering technical and commercial aspects of proposed Circor solutions
• Reviews technical specifications and commercial requirements. If necessary, clarifies discrepancies prior to quote preparation
• Details the preferred technical solution in cooperation with internal and external interfaces considering commercial aspects
• Elaborates complete technical and commercial quotation. Revises quotation based on feedback/modifications from customer during quote phase and order execution
• Monitors market development and trends and communicates with sales, product management and engineering. Monitors and evaluates developments at competitors. Initiates and promotes the further development of products and solutions for applications and processes
• Supports field sales team and other sales channels in project negotiations, frame agreements and trade shows
• Supports regional teams with technical expertise for special pumps and applications
• Initiates and conducts trainings in pump and application technology
• Interaction with customers over phone, email and physical visit if necessary to understand application requirements

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Excellent English language skills
• Hands on experience of work in MS office programs, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Customer-oriented, Positive and Communicative Personality

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent education and 6 plus years experiences in Application engineering or Sales support and of complex and consultancy intensive products
