Job Description

  • We are seeking a forward-thinking manager to drive revenue and billing optimization
  • This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and operations, shaping how Mastercard Gateway captures value and scales its commercial impact globally
  • This is a high-visibility role at the core of Mastercard Gateways growth agenda reporting to VP, Revenue Optimization team
  • The role offers the opportunity to shape pricing and billing strategy globally, establish scalable automation, and influence cross-functional decisions at the highest levels

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and drive billing flow frameworks for Gateway processing, products and services, supporting the commercial financial obligations and enabling accurate, scalable billing across products and regions
  • Develop and execute process optimization initiatives to enhance billing efficiency
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Global Billing teams to create and streamline billing structure, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Lead end-to-end revenue assurance initiatives, identifying leakage points across implementation, onboarding, and billing processes
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Regional leaders to design innovative frameworks and automated processes to ensure continuous monitoring, audit accuracy, and long-term revenue protection
  • Develop and implement governance processes for contract-to-billing handovers, ensuring compliance and timely revenue recognition
  • Support Pricing and Billing new product initiatives within Studio (product lifecycle governance), reviewing products for commercialization readiness

All About You

  • Understanding of the ecosystem of payment processing, authorization and acquiring services, with specific experience with an acquirer or payment service provider preferred
  • Understand billing, driver impacts and related systems to support efficient end to end processes
  • Collaborative team player: proven track record in collaborating with multiple cross-functional (both internal and external) teams across multiple locations; exceptional in facilitating challenging conversations and managing ambiguity Natural problem solver: analytical, curious with a can-do attitude; innovative, solutions-oriented skillset and fact-driven approach to product development
  • Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
  • Experience in Product Management, billing flows, revenue optimization, and/or strategy (payments or fintech preferred)
  • Strong analytical, business and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of crafting compelling narratives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, balancing strategic vision with execution
  • Knowledge and skills using product management tools, (eg market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, pricing, business case development) Bachelors degree in business or relevant experience; advanced degree is helpful Technical background (eg Computer Science or related field) a plus
