Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Management Specialist with a strong foundation in Project Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams. Responsibilities:Manage and oversee infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, and resource allocation. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and management, to ensure project alignment and success. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any issues that may impact project delivery. Implement best practices in project management and infrastructure management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assist in the development and maintenance of infrastructure policies and procedures. Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure related issues. Mandatory Skills:Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e. g. , Agile, Waterfall). Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Preferred Skills:Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage). Experience with project management tools (e. g. , MS Project, JIRA). Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Certifications in Project Management (e. g. , PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus. Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within infrastructure management. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
