Sr Advanced Project Engr

We are looking for Project Engineer for development of computing platforms for NPIs & Obsolescence Programs within Honeywell Aerospace. This job requires the individual to work with global stakeholders and manage the overall program cost, schedule, technical risks and dependencies. In addition, he/she needs to lead the program to meet design goals, define prioritization of work packages, and drive overall program performance. The individual needs to be the driving force behind the success of NPIs & Obsolescence and accomplish the goals with detailed work plans, manage teams, achieve milestones, establish day to day priorities and communicate the result across the global stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from requirements definition through certification by identifying the customer needs, schedule alignment, scope definition, budget estimation, implementation plans and risks mitigation.


• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed including the escalation of issues as necessary based on project work plans.


• Work with stakeholders to understand the overall project goals, define strategies for platform development, effectively communicate priorities to internal teams.


• Drive cross functional leadership and collaborations within engineering.


• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.


• Manage program health and overall status of cost, schedule and risks.


• Establish regular connect with stakeholders and manage the relationship.


• Addresses barriers and bring down re-occurring and non-reoccurring costs in engineering by streamlining the workflow to maximize efficiencies in deliverables.


• Provide the direction and motivation to engineering teams to ensure maximum performance,


• Brings capability to drive Critical Thinking and Do Different Strategies

Requirements:

• B.E./B.TECH, M.E./M.TECH or equivalent degree Engineering


• 10+ years of experience in Aerospace domain


• Project Management Certification or equivalent preferred


• Experience in AGILE deployment preferred
