Sr. Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of managing financial statements and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CA, CMA, or CPA is preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
