Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Kolkata
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Salary Range: ₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, and statutory filings, with the ability to work independently and ensure accuracy in financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, etc.)
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts
• Maintain accurate books of accounts as per statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (CA Inter preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GST & TDS laws and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
