Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving sales in the South Indian market with a focus on large MNCs as a Territory Account Manager (ADM - DevOps) at OpenText. Your main tasks will include leading pursuit in your assigned focus areas, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position OpenText products and services better. You will work on leads generated by Marketing and Channel partners to progress and close opportunities, seek out new opportunities, and expand existing ones to build the pipeline and drive closures. Additionally, you will establish professional relationships with clients and work with external partners to deliver sales. Key Responsibilities: - Lead pursuit in assigned focus areas by driving proactive campaigns, prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing opportunities. - Create and drive sales for accounts in the South region, focusing on large MNCs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Channels, Pre Sales, Professional Services, Marketing to build the pipeline. - Maintain knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position OpenText products and services better. - Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities, expand existing ones, and drive closures. - Develop quota objectives and future direction for the defined product category. - Establish professional, working, and consultative relationships with clients, including C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts. - Work directly with customers at all levels, including the highest within customer organizations. - Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure account retention and growth. - Demonstrate leadership and initiative in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals. - Utilize deep knowledge of products, solutions, or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to sell large solutions. - Understand the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling. - Demonstrate high service or product knowledge and professionalism in researching and sharing service-related information with account teams and customers. - Have a significant percentage of time spent directly with customers in the specified Region of India. - Understand how to leverage the company's portfolio and differentiate from competitors. Qualifications Required: - Around 15 years of directly relatable previous work experience in Software Sales. - Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customers, and higher-level customer interface. - Considered an expert in knowledge of products, solutions, or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings. - Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills. - Deep knowledge of products, solutions, or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings. - Understanding of how to leverage the company's portfolio and change the playing field against competitors.
