Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  cloud-native microservices

  using Java (Spring Boot), optimized for deployment on

  Red Hat OpenShift

• Lead migration efforts from older Java versions to

  , and upgrade Spring Boot applications to latest stable releases with performance optimization.
• Build

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Jenkins and GitLab CI, integrating automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Containerize applications with

  and manage deployments on

  OpenShift Kubernetes

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement

  GitOps workflows

  , ensure consistent environment configurations, and streamline deployments.
• Develop and maintain secure, scalable

  RESTful APIs

  (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) into CI/CD processes.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Backend Development:

  Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices.

• Frontend Development:

  Angular, React.js, Next.js.

• Cloud Platforms:

  AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, ElasticCache, CloudWatch) and OpenShift.

• DevOps & CI/CD:

  Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, BitBucket, GitOps.

• Observability Tools:

  Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.

• System Design & Security:

  Strong understanding of software security, scalability, and infrastructure reliability.

• Domain Expertise:

  Experience in e-commerce systems preferred.

• Soft Skills:

  Strong English communication (verbal & written), collaboration with frontend and cross-functional teams.
