Specification Management Analyst (Food Safety)

As a member of the PepsiCo Europe - Food Safety team, your role will involve providing necessary food safety expertise to support R&D specification updates and new specifications. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting food safety assessments and adding required food safety parameters to foods, dairy, and F&V ingredients specifications - Serving as a point of contact for maintaining and fostering relationships with the Ingredient Specification team during supplier alignment process - Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers - Reviewing supplier questionnaires, collecting Food Safety specific documentation, and addressing outstanding questions with the Ingredient Specification team and suppliers - Updating existing specs to ensure compliance with PepsiCo Food Safety Standards using PepsiCo tools - Uploading all food safety paperwork and materials qualifications into SAP or Teams once approved - Ensuring all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined project timelines - Identifying potential areas for process improvements and making recommendations to the R&D Europe QFS team for continuous improvement Qualifications required for this role include: - Understanding of Quality Assurance/Food Safety concepts with a good working knowledge of food microbiology, food allergens, physical, and chemical hazards - Understanding of food legislations - Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and certification at least at level 2 - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to rapidly learn computer applications/programs and navigate systems - Collaborative skills with a strong interest in working across time zones and building relationships with internal and external partners - Good communication skills both orally and in writing - Ability to effectively manage time across multiple priorities and projects, showcasing organizational and communication skills for timely delivery - Exceptional data organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy - Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative on projects - Fluency in English - Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent relevant experience Please note, there are no additional details of the company mentioned in the job description provided.,
