Specialist - Vessel IT Support

• Remotely Install, configure and troubleshooting physical/virtual machines, Server, laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications, Wireless and Wired Network) on the Vessels.
• Attend Vessels globally for IT Installation, Routine Maintenance, IT Platform Decommissioning.
• Perform remote diagnostics and support using tools such as Service Desk, Inmarsat-Navarino Infinity, PRTG, TeamViewer, and other remote access platforms.
• Administer and monitor servers, IP routing, switching, and firewall systems.
• Apply OS-level troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, or other platforms.
• Knowledge about Cybersecurity.
• Support and troubleshoot peripheral devices including printers, scanners, and multifunction devices (MFDs).
• Maintain and support network connectivity, infrastructure components, and cloud-based network services.
• Assist to implement IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, backup systems, networking equipment, power systems, and desktops.
• Knowledge about Active Directory, Domain Controller, SQL, Server configuration.
• Collaborate with Managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of technical projects.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and support processes for internal use.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

• The candidate should be willing and able to travel to various locations, including international destinations.
• The candidate must possess knowledge of vessel IT systems and satellite communication technologies.
• The candidate should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
