Specialist Information Security

You will be responsible for supporting the overall Information Security Risk Assessments and related day-to-day duties. This will involve analyzing security documentation/questionnaires from both vendors and internal teams, following up with initiative stakeholders, analyzing and presenting raw data/metrics, reviewing legal agreements from an information security perspective, report writing, and escalating identified security concerns to senior team members. You will assist Senior Information Security Advisors in performing information security risk assessments, including analyzing external vendor questionnaires, drafting risk reports summarizing the assessment, following up with stakeholders to clarify information, and reviewing legal agreements with vendors from an information security perspective. Additionally, you will provide security consulting services to Enterprise Services and Business Units. As you gain experience and aptitude, you will be expected to perform these tasks independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly, advanced writing skills with a focus on report writing, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a good understanding of existing and emerging Information Security technologies, effective consulting skills to influence positive outcomes, and the ability to work well with diverse groups within the organization. Being a self-starter, strategic thinker, negotiator, and consensus builder will be beneficial for this role. Additional knowledge of technologies related to Information Security such as encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, anti-virus, DDoS, and behavioral analysis/advanced malware detection is a plus. The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field. This position falls under the IT - Technology Services job category.
