• Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to identify each child’s educational and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with the therapy team.
• Deliver structured academic and functional skill instruction tailored to each child.
• Utilize multisensory teaching techniques and specialized strategies (e.g., ABA, TEACCH, play-based learning).
• Modify general curriculum to meet individual needs.
• Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and provide monthly reports to parents.
• Collaborate with speech, occupational, and behavioral therapists.
• Conduct remedial sessions and parent training for home-based learning.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and emotional well‑being in the classroom.
• Participate in workshops, staff meetings, and training sessions
• Skills needed:
• Patience, empathy, strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of learning disabilities and therapeutic approaches.
• Ability to work closely within a multidisciplinary team.
• Record-keeping and documentation proficiency
