Special Education Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Specialist, located in Dehradun. The role involves creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, providing direct instructional support in a classroom setting, and collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the appropriate interventions and accommodations. The Specialist will also be responsible for assessing student needs, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed records while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Strong Communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and team members
• Background in Education and experience in developing and delivering instructional content
• Experience and passion for Working With Children with diverse learning needs
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of local and national educational regulations and best practices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education or a related field
• Relevant certification in special education or related areas is a plus
