A South Indian cook is responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency. Here are some key duties:

  • Cooking Traditional Dishes: Preparing a variety of South Indian foods like dosa, idli, sambar, rasam, vada, and chutneys.
  • Food Preparation & Management: Ensuring timely serving by managing food prep and production.
  • Ingredient Selection: Using fresh and high-quality ingredients to maintain authentic flavors.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Keeping the kitchen clean and following food safety regulations.
  • Collaboration: Working with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Menu Development: Creating new dishes while preserving traditional South Indian flavors.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels and placing orders for necessary supplies.
