Job Description

As a Bakery Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our team with your expertise in bulk operations and institutional catering experience being highly valued for this position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist the Head Baker in daily operations, including production planning and inventory management. - Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. - Ensure consistency and quality in baked goods by adhering to recipes and maintaining presentation standards. - Train and supervise bakery staff to foster a positive work environment. - Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the bakery. - Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and develop new recipes and menus. **Requirements:** - 2+ years of experience as a Bakery Sous Chef or in a similar role. - Proficient baking and pastry skills, with a deep knowledge of ingredients and techniques. - Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. - Strong communication and organizational abilities. - Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
