Sourcing Specialist, Accessories

As a potential candidate for the role at Ralph Lauren Corporation, you will be responsible for executing regional strategic initiatives and ensuring short-term & long-term capacity by actively sourcing and validating vendors" performance and capability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the development process by overseeing sample development and securing sample proto to SRS for Leather accessories and apparel - Ensuring base testing is conducted for fabrics and raw materials and collaborating closely with the Raw Material team for approval - Conducting/ revising costing and negotiating prices with suppliers - Allocating vendors for products and collaborating closely with identified vendors - Working in tandem with the capacity team on capacity management - Ensuring sample Leadtime adheres to RL standards or is kept to a minimum - Securing all necessary approvals before order confirmation - Timely handover to the production team In addition to the above responsibilities, you should possess the following qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of Merchandising/sourcing experience, preferably with a US buying office or large trading business - Profound product and material knowledge in high-end brand products with a good fashion sense - High adaptability and flexibility in changing business environments, capable of working independently - Detail-oriented with the ability to handle structured processes effectively - Strong PC skills, especially in Excel for analysis, familiarity with multiple systems, charts, and reports - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills - Fluency in both spoken and written English - Exposure to multiple brands, calendars, and product categories is preferred,
