Sourcing Professional

As an Assistant Manager at our company in Vadodara, Gujarat, your role will primarily focus on understanding products and their applications for global sourcing. You will be responsible for sourcing products and establishing relationships with suppliers to meet the company's needs. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: - Understanding critical product specifications for various applications and aligning the company's sourcing strategies accordingly. - Sourcing products to meet the requirements of both customers and suppliers. - Developing and executing market strategies based on the company's business plan. - Expanding the supplier base by targeting new products. - Creating and implementing plans to build and maintain relationships with existing suppliers. - Prioritizing supplier satisfaction and effectively addressing any complaints. To excel in this role, you should possess an MBA or a degree in Chemical Engineering, along with 2 to 6 years of experience in sourcing commodity chemicals, specialty chemicals, and contract manufacturing. You should have a proven track record of building strong relationships and developing sourcing strategies on a product-specific basis.
