Sourcing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Identification & Evaluation:

• Source and evaluate new vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers and keep supplier profiles updated.
• Conduct supplier audits, site visits, or assessments as needed.

2. Procurement & Negotiation:

• Request and analyze quotations from multiple vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Support in contract preparation and ensure all terms are adhered to.

3. Order & Inventory Coordination:

• Raise purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with inventory, production, and warehouse teams for demand forecasting and order planning.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

• Ensure proper documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and transactions.
• Comply with organizational procurement policies and ethical sourcing practices.
• Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies, claims, or quality issues with vendors.

5. Cost Analysis & Reporting:

• Track and report on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement metrics.
• Provide inputs for budget planning and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:

• 25 years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles.
• Exposure to local and international sourcing is preferred.

• Skills:

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and time management
