Key Responsibilities

- The intern will be involved in various aspects of audio engineering, including but not limited to:

- Setup and Maintenance: Assisting with the setup, testing, and teardown of audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, speakers, and recording interfaces.

- Recording Assistance: Supporting lead engineers during recording sessions (e.g., music, podcasts, voiceovers, live events), including mic placement and patch bay management.

- Post-Production Support: Aiding in basic audio editing, cleanup, mixing, and mastering tasks under supervision.

- Archiving and Organization: Helping to organize and maintain the audio library, session files, and equipment inventory.

- Technical Support: Troubleshooting minor technical issues with audio hardware and software.

- General Studio Assistance: Performing various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the studio runs smoothly.

- Learning and Development: Observing and actively engaging in learning processes for various audio techniques and workflows.

Qualifications :

- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Film Production, or a related field.

- Basic theoretical and practical understanding of acoustics, signal flow, and audio principles.

- Familiarity with at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and the ability to take direction effectively.

- Ability to lift and move standard audio equipment (e.g., speakers, amps).
