Job Description

As a Service Support Specialist at Diebold Nixdorf, you will provide technical support to DN Services, Service Partners, and Customers, leveraging your expert knowledge of DN-serviced products and solutions. You will play a crucial role in structured problem management within the DN Incident & Problem Management process, identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues. Additionally, you will support technical escalations and improvement initiatives while conducting technical product trainings and facilitating communication of service-relevant information to and from country services units. Your responsibilities will also include developing, implementing, maintaining, and advising on service processes and standard operational procedures, as well as initiating, managing, or supporting customer, fleet, and product performance improvement projects and initiatives. For Internal Candidates, your role will involve providing technical support for an assigned technician group, customers, or a small set of products/services. You will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting complex technical problems, such as mechanical, mechatronic, electronic, software configuration, and integrational issues. By working on assigned cases and task queues, you will follow proper case management protocols, prioritize urgent requests, and update and escalate cases as required. Your duties will also include analyzing technical issues, evaluating defective materials, trace and log files, determining reproduction steps, performing root cause analyses, providing technical trainings and on-site support, and managing product-related technical escalations. Additionally, you will support the integration of product- and solution-specific information into standard services practices, as well as contribute to the localization of services-relevant content and regularly support improvement projects. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Diploma or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Service Support or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in good business English skills, both written and spoken, is required to effectively carry out the responsibilities of this position.
