Solution Engineer

As a member of Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy systems around the world. Your expertise and technical knowledge will be instrumental in the preparation of main circuit parameters, power system studies, and technical parameters for HVDC Substations. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to the sales department, project management for HV Equipment, and contributing to the basic design of HVDC projects. You will be tasked with internal project supervision, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality standards are met. Your role will involve making technical decisions in collaboration with project managers, preparing sub project reports, and monitoring project progress through regular meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities within projects, proposing strategies to mitigate risks, and capitalizing on opportunities. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a solid foundation in HVDC Engineering with 7-15 years of experience. A degree in electrical engineering or relevant field is preferred, along with expertise in Power System studies tools, LV Breaker study, Relay co-ordination, and protection scheme validation. Your experience in high voltage projects, power system analysis packages, and power system studies for various projects will be invaluable in this position.
