You will be joining the WSP ME team which aims to expand its energy division significantly. There are various roles available to accommodate individuals at different stages of their careers. We are in need of a Technical Expert specializing in the Electrical domain, particularly in HV Sub-stations, Wind, and Solar Power Plants. As the incumbent, you will be responsible for managing the overall electrical team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating strong technical knowledge in primary and secondary detailed engineering of EHV substations. You should be a subject matter expert in at least one area. Additionally, you will be expected to work on conceptual engineering drawings, designs, and BOQs for EHV projects. Expertise in HVDC engineering and design for large capex projects is also crucial. You will conduct design reviews for electrical deliverables across various projects and directly engage with clients. As an ideal candidate, you will possess a Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution. Familiarity with ME projects and experience in Power, Water, and Renewable projects is preferred. Knowledge of software tools such as Auto CAD, ETAP, PSS/E, and ASPEN will be advantageous. Experience working with Middle East Utilities like SEC/NGSA/TRANSCO will be highly regarded. Effective communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential. The role involves leading the Electrical Discipline with responsibilities such as technical leadership, bids & proposals, and people management. You should have a strong technical knowledge in primary & secondary detailed engineering of EHV substations and be a subject matter expert in at least one of them. Expertise in conceptual engineering drawings & designs, BOQs for EHV projects, covering AIS and GIS substations from 11kV up to 400kV, with a focus on 132kV voltages and above, is required. Knowledge in HVDC engineering and design/review for large capex HVDC projects is essential. Your responsibilities will include design review for electrical deliverables related to power, water, renewables, and T&D projects, while leading a team of engineers and designers in carrying out electrical design review and basic engineering works. You will need expertise in the basic design/review of electrical substation facilities and familiarity with various diagrams and layouts. Qualifications: - Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. - Familiarity with ME projects and experience in a lead role on large capital projects in India/ME. - Experience in Power, Water, and Renewable projects like solar, wind, and BESS is preferred. - Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, ETAP, PSS/E, and ASPEN is an advantage. - Experience working with Middle East Utilities like SEC/NGSA/TRANSCO is a strong differentiator. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated leadership skills, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Self-motivated, eager learner, with an aptitude to grow and develop within the field.,
