Solution Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Regional Solutions & Service Engineer at Maersk, you will be responsible for developing solutions in line with MbM strategy and customer needs. Your role will involve basic supply chain analytics projects, analysis of end-to-end supply chains for cost-saving opportunities, interpreting customer requirements, configuring solution building blocks, and project managing solution design processes to ensure on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop solutions in line with MbM strategy and customer needs - Conduct basic supply chain analytics projects - Analyze end-to-end supply chains for potential cost-saving opportunities - Identify and analyze potential configuration gaps using various MbM technology platforms/applications - Interpret customer requirements and translate them into solution proposals - Configure solution building blocks to maximize use of existing solutions - Quantify solution resource and implementation requirements - Work with Product/IT to develop alternative solutions in case of capability gaps - Review and support customer solutions and implementations - Act as custodian of sustainable operational quality and efficiency - Project manage the solution design process to ensure on-time delivery - Maintain the repository of the global pricing database and update with relevant changes Qualifications Required: - Masters degree from a recognized university, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management - Minimum 7 years of experience in transportation with experience in solution designing and supply chain - 5+ years of experience in analytics, design, or operations of international supply chains - Project management experience will be an advantage - Direct experience in one or more core industry verticals - Strong financial acumen - Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and travel upon business requirements - Skills to manage sensitive customers and personalities Additional Company Details: Maersk is a global leader in integrated logistics, with over 100,000 employees across 130 countries.
