Job Title: Sr Solution Architect - Cloud Overview: We seek a hands-on Solution Architect with deep expertise in designing, building, and guide delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reference architectures, migration roadmaps, and enterprise class scalable and secure deployments through automation. Responsibilities: Include, but not limited to: Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (AWS) Perform triage on issues, provide technical solutions, and stay up to date on software releases and updates Design endtoend architecture on cloud (compute, storage, networking, security, data, AI/ML); primarily on AWS Produce highlevel and lowlevel design documents, diagrams, and cost models. Help customers to build cloud strategy and roadmaps including but not limited to developing migration plans, calculate ROI, taking decision on build vs buy; create BoQ and cost and more. Design and Implement best security practices including but not limited to IAM, VPC segmentation, encryption, and logging. Ensure architectures meet ISO27001 / SOC2 / HIPAA / GDPR or other relevant and required compliances. Define CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). •Use IaC (CloudFormation / Terraform / AWS CDK). Scripting and automation to create and run scripts to automate repetitive processes Run architecture workshops with product owners and developers. Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow Create and Maintain architecture runbooks, playbooks, security playbooks, and conduct WellArchitected reviews Ensure that all work and changes are performed according to the defined change management process to minimize disruption to existing business use Represent the team during major Incidents, perform RCAs and drive to resolution Serve as technical consultant and technical leader Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, helping develop their technical skills Lead teams to resolve unusually complex Infrastructure problems and provides highly creative solution System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains Evaluate new technology options and vendor products for quick onboarding of automation Interface with application vendors, technical resources, and other technology partners as necessary Qualifications & Skills: Engineering in computer science or related field, or 5-10 years equivalent experience Deep Knowledge on cloud networking like VPC, Subnets, TGW, DirectConnect, VPN Computes - EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, APIGateway, ALB/NLB/GLB Storage EBS, S3, FSx etc. Data – RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, snowflake, DMS Automation – CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, CI/CD. Observability – ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, IAM, KMS ML/AI tools like SageMaker, Bedrock Advanced knowledge of security trends and best practices A high degree of innovation & creativity to resolve technical problems Excellent functional and technical knowledge in troubleshooting Windows and various Linux distributions knowledge in tools like Puppet, Chef is preferred Experience and knowledgeable with Active directory, networking concepts and protocols Experience in Patch Management and vulnerability remediation Scripting and automation like Bash, Python, PowerShell Strong understanding of Azure and AWS cloud technology Ability to define, design, build, and maintain systems and solutions leveraging systems and infrastructure Must have AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certificate and preferred to have either AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional orDevOps Engineer – Pro certification. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in layman terms Experience working in a challenging and fast paced environment, ability to work well under sustained pressure and tight deadlines Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, can-do attitude, urgency, and drive Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail
