Software Validation Engineer

Your responsibilities include: - Validating Profilers for functionality and cross-platform compatibility on FreeBSD and Linux on AMD Processors. - Designing and implementing comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation scripts for application validation. - Conducting functional, integration, and regression testing across multiple OS environments. - Analyzing FreeBSD internals, kernel behavior, and system-level interactions during validation. - Diagnosing and resolving issues using system logs, debugging tools, and performance monitoring utilities. - Collaborating with development teams to address defects and enhance application quality. Preferred experience for this role includes hands-on experience in validating system-level tools, proficiency in FreeBSD and Linux environments, knowledge of PC configurations, programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python), understanding of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies, attention to detail, multitasking ability, knowledge of the product development lifecycle, and excellent communication and presentation skills. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
