??We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Software Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD's products, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. THE PERSON:

??As a Software Systems Design Engineer, you will deliver our next generation of products in the computer graphics industry - 3D Gaming, Display Technologies, Compute, Virtual Reality, etc. In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to define products, develop solutions, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions.?As a senior member of the team, taking initiative in mentoring to achieve the team's goal of on time delivery is expected.??

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Validate Profilers for functionality and cross-platform compatibility on FreeBSD and Linux on AMD Processors.
• Design and Implement comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation scripts for application validation.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing across multiple OS environments.
• Analyze FreeBSD internals, kernel behavior, and system-level interactions during validation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using system logs, debugging tools, and performance monitoring utilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to address defects and enhance application quality.
