Job Summary NetApp Platform Product Team is responsible for building, launching, and managing NetApp’s core storage and data management products. The team builds the foundational product capabilities behind NetApp’s flagship storage platforms and is at the forefront of driving a transformational journey at NetApp by accelerating innovation across NetApp’s hybrid cloud portfolio (Public, Private & On-premises). The ACS Network Support Engineer role requires a well-organized, action-oriented team player with exceptional time management and strong written and oral communication skills to drive customer facing support issues in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be a, intermediate to senior-level network engineer, who can focus on improving overall customer experience by quickly identifying and resolving problems in a global, carrier class network. Responsibilities Responsible for documenting incidents and problems per the IBM Cloud IaaS Network Services standards and practices. Serves as a technical expert in troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution of networking issues which include switches and routers belonging to Cisco, Arista Juniper etc. Should be conversant with various networking protocols/technologies and should have hands-on experience with various network support tools. The engineer should be able to make decisions based on risk, best practice and business need and clearly articulate the decision points and should have excellent written (including documentation) and verbal (communication) skills. Engineer should showcase intent to reduce toil through automation.
