Software Tester

Key Responsibilities: Assist in understanding project requirements and developing basic test cases. Execute manual test cases to evaluate software performance and functionality. Identify, record, and report software defects in a structured manner. Collaborate with developers and QA team members to verify and validate issue resolutions. Participate in regression and re-testing activities after defect fixes. Maintain accurate records of test activities, outcomes, and supporting documentation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Knowledge of manual testing concepts, including test case preparation and defect reporting. Familiarity with basic testing tools or issue-tracking systems is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing techniques.
