Summary

Job Title: Automation Tester – ETL & Data Warehouse

Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

  test plans

  ,

  test cases

  , and

  automation scripts

  for ETL and DWH systems.
• Build and maintain

  ETL automation frameworks

  using Python (preferred).
• Verify

  data movement, data transformations, aggregations, and business logic

  across multiple sources and target systems.
• Write and execute

  complex SQL queries

  for data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis.
• Collaborate closely with

  Data Engineers, Developers, BAs

  , and other cross-functional teams to ensure complete end-to-end test coverage.
• Document test results, prepare detailed reports, and track defects through closure.
• Work with ETL tools such as

  Databricks

  (preferred) and data pipeline solutions.
• Apply testing best practices within

  cloud environments

  (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Required Skills

• Strong experience in

  ETL Testing

  and

  Data Warehouse (DWH) projects

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  test automation development

  , including framework creation.
• Proficiency in

  Python

  for automation scripting.
• Expertise in

  SQL

  with ability to write complex queries for validation.
• Experience validating

  data transformations

  , business logic, and large dataset workflows.
• Familiarity with

  Databricks

  , ETL tools, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data testing automation.
• Knowledge of BI and reporting tools.
