Job Description of Application Consultant / Software System Analyst

An Application Consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing software systems, and recommend enhancements or new solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse user requirements, translating them into technical specifications for software development.
  • Assess existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Design and propose solutions that align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with software developers to implement and test proposed solutions.
  • Perform software testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of applications.
  • Ensure software systems meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Create documentation including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system implementation and post-launch phases.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Software Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements and technical specifications.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or related fields.
  • Experience with specific software tools or systems relevant to the healthcare domain (e.g., HMIS & EMR systems, HRMS systems, Inventory systems).

Experience:

  • 5+ years in the healthcare domain

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
