Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA / Test Engineer with 2+ years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing and a good understanding of testing methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand features and resolve issues
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
Validate bug fixes and ensure timely closure
Ensure software meets quality standards and client requirements
Prepare test reports and provide test status updates

Required Skills

2 years of experience in Manual Testing
Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
Experience in testing Web and Mobile applications
Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution
Knowledge of bug tracking tools (MantisBT, JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
Understanding of API testing (Postman is a plus)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong communication skills with proven fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in Performance or Security testing
ISTQB certification (added advantage)
